The matrix helps evaluate and prioritize sustainability initiatives based on their impact and viability. ENVIRONMENTAL

  • Improve resource and energy efficiency

    We will continue to develop solutions that increase resource and energy efficiency for the environment and society. In addition, we strive to minimize the impact on the environment while maintaining product quality. We will carry out eco-friendly activities by maximizing resource circulation and utilization throughout the product life cycle, from production sites to products.

  • Reducing greenhouse gas emissions and managing climate change

    We will strive to reduce carbon emissions throughout the entire process, including materials, production, transportation, use, and disposal. We plan to manage not only direct emissions (Scope 1) but also indirect emissions (Scope 2). We plan to develop innovative technologies to improve energy efficiency and expand carbon emission reduction facilities that apply these technologies to our lines.

  • Suppressing hazardous chemical emissions

    We strive to minimize the negative impact that hazardous substances that may be contained in our products and chemicals used at production sites may have on the health of our customers, employees, and the environment. We aim to minimize risks by regularly updating the chemical substance law database and integrating it with our own management standards.

    In order to establish a responsible and environmentally friendly supply chain, WCP intends to conduct transactions by inspecting and evaluating essential areas such as the environment, safety and health, and labor and human rights of its partner companies. In addition, we will support comprehensive evaluation and follow-up management so that our partner companies can discover and supplement their own areas of improvement.

    We respect human rights, practice them in our management activities, and continue to make improvements to create a safer working environment. In addition, we seek to ensure an appropriate standard of living for workers and eliminate inequality.   • Strengthening occupational safety and health, Enable stakeholder communication

    We plan to establish and operate a safety and health management system so that all executives and employees can work safely and healthily. We have established a serious disaster risk diagnosis system to diagnose the safety and health operation system and standard management situation, and are continuously discovering and improving on-site risk factors.
